This is particularly helpful if you find a standard average wig too snug or need a little more room around the circumference. Cap availability varies from style to style, so always check the sizing information on the individual product. We recommend measuring around your head before choosing your wig rather than relying on your usual size, as the fit can also vary slightly depending on the cap construction.

Traditional synthetic wigs are designed to retain their original style with minimal daily styling, while heat-friendly Gabor wigs give you more freedom to change the look. Many Gabor Designer Series wigs use Tru2Life heat-friendly synthetic fibre, which can be curled, straightened or blow-dried using suitable temperature-controlled styling tools. HairUWear advises a maximum temperature of around 180°C for Tru2Life fibre. Not every Gabor wig is heat-friendly, however, so always check the fibre listed on the individual product before using heated styling tools.

Gabor offers several different cap constructions depending on the style and collection. These can include lace fronts for a natural-looking hairline, monofilament sections for a realistic parting, hand-tied areas for natural movement and open-wefted caps for increased airflow. Some premium Gabor styles combine several of these features in the same wig. Storing your wig properly is important to maintaining its shape and quality.

• Ideally, you should store your wig in the original packaging. Simply comb through the wig to remove any tangles or knots, then fold it flat and place it back into the box. Store in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent any damage to the wig fibres.
• Alternatively, if you have lots of space, you could put on wig stands and have them on display. There are various types of wig stands available, including ones that resemble a head shape or simple upright stands.

Yes, you can. You have two options. You can either braid your hair and then wrap the braids around and towards your crown. Or you can tie your long hair into a ponytail and then clip it towards your forehead. Finally, secure your hair by wearing a wig cap.

No. The most important factor for you to consider is how comfortable you feel when you are wearing your wig. If you have hair, you can always clip and pop on a wig cap. The wig cap will keep your hair secure under your wig. If you have been told you are to lose your hair, shaving your head is a very personal decision, but don't feel any pressure to do so until you are ready.
